Greenseal 300 is a cement based crystallisation waterproofer for mortar consistency used in making coves and angle fillets. Use in conjunction with Greenseal 200.
GO BACKAdvantages:
Waterproof - Prevents surface problems, e.g. fungus growth, cracking, and able to withstand positive and negative water pressure.
Cost Effective - Repair and rehabilitate old and problematic concrete by sealing off hairline cracks.
Corrosion Inhibitor - Removes moisture in concrete by reacting with it, thus reducing or eliminating corrosion of reinforcing steel in the concrete.
Wide Performance Window - Easy application and suitable for various construction structures and sites
Protection - No special protective system is required.
Increase resistance to frost, weathering, salt water, aggressive ground water and many chemicals.
Used in making coves and angle fillets in conjunction with Greenseal 200:
Water tanks
Swimming pools
Sewage Tank
Concrete slab
Tunnels
Planter box
Retaining Walls
Water treatment structures
Lift pits
Wet areas-toilet & bathroom
Balconies
Underground shafts
Reservoirs
Foundations & basements
Fish Ponds
Surface:
Surfaces must be clean and free from oil, dust, paint and laitence. Apply to routed out cracks, honeycombing, construction joints and reglets after application of Greenseal 200 bonding coat. If repairs are deep, install Greenseal 300 mortar in layers applying Greenseal 200 slurry in between each mortar layer.
Mixing:
Mix Greenseal 200 and 300 (1:4) dry and add enough water to make stiff mortar consistency. Mix only enough to be used in 15 minutes.
Application:
See Greenseal literature for application quantities.
Curing:
All Greenseal products must be moisture cured for a minimum of two days after installation. Protect from drying out too quickly and from rain, frost and wind.
Note:
Rubber gloves must be worn when in direct contact with Greenseal materials. If material gets into eyes, flush immediately with clean water and repeat until irritation ceases. Use goggles to protect eyes. Clean eyes after use.
